This achievement for unlocking Ryo can also be done by using the secret debug mode within the game's Bios. If you're not a fighting fanatic, lack the patience to unlock these achievements, or simply want an easy 200G then use this to make completing this game much less of a task. Dip Codes do not disable achievements for this game.

Unlocking the Cheat Menu
Note: This does not work with the updated patch downloaded. So make sure from the Xbox Dashboard you go to System Settings then Storage. Highlight your Hardrive and press Y . Clear all updates from your cache then start up Fatal Fury Special. If you are connected to Xbox Live you will be asked to download an update, select No to decline. You must do this in order to unlock achievements with this method and you will receive no time stamps for the achievements you unlock with this method.

From the Main Menu go to "Single Player" and press A , an Intro will show. Select a difficulty. To open up the Cheat Menu simultaneously press X + A+ Y + Start once the character select screen shows. Some people may have difficulties getting the menu to appear. If you do, press and hold X + A + Y and keep them held down. While holding down those buttons, press START, the Pause Menu will come up. Now press START again to "Resume Game", the Cheat Menu should come up after that. If this still isn't working for you please repeat the process until it works. Pressing all 4 buttons at a time can be tricky at times. Here are the Cheat menu options:

THE CHEAT DATABASE
From Here you can choose up to 14 Cheats to toggle on or off by pressing X button. An X will be checked in the box to indicate it has been turned on. Only bother toggling the 1UP Infinite Energy, No Hit Stop, Speed Up, and No Fain Recovery. Don't bother toggling 1UP Infinite Energy Red or anything for 2UP. This makes winning fights easier. To view the other 11 cheats move further down to view them, they are as listed:

DEBUG DIP SETTINGS
Dip Switch codes can be entered from here. They are entered in a 00000000(DIP1)-00000000(DIP2) format. You simply press Y to set on a digit switch from 0 to 1 thus turning it on. So for example if I wanted to enter the "Both Players Invincible" dip code which is 2-6, I would enter it like so:

[DIP1]:01000000 [DIP2]:00000100

You are simply turning on the 2nd digit from Dip Switch 1 and the 6th Digit from Dip Switch 2 to input the code. It's that simple. Once you input a dip code hit Y twice to exit out of the Debug Menu and the effect should activate immediately during the fight. Now that you understand how to input dip codes here is a list that I experimented and found myself that you can use:

2-5: Press A+X+B+Y to Set Opponents Health to 0
Note: This will also make it impossible to KO your opponent so Reset Dip Codes once the CPU's health flashes red, return to game and hit them once to KO them.

2-6: Both Players Have Infinite Health and Shows Player Coordinates

6-1: Face Ryo in the next match

PATCH MEMORY
This is not necessary to unlock achievements. It serves no purpose so simply ignore it.

How to Unlock all 5 Arcade Achievements using the Debug Menu
Pull up the Debug menu at the character select screen and input 6-1 under Debug Dip settings. It should look like this [DIP1]:00000100-[DIP2]:10000000

Hit Y button to go back and then go to THE CHEAT DATABASE and turn on 1UP Infinite Energy, No Hit Stop, Action Speed Up or anything else that would put you in favor. Select your character and you will immediately be pitted against Ryo which will get you Unlock Ryo. Defeat him in the 1st round to unlock Perfect Victory. Defeat Ryo in the 2nd Round to unlock High Score. After the credits you will unlock both Complete the Game and Survival for 45G.

Please note that every Dip Code I listed I found by myself and are all NOT the same as the Arcade machine codes you would find from search engines. They are not the same as the Xbox 360 codes and some will give you different effects from using those codes than what is stated. There are more Dip Codes that I have missed but I just used the ones I needed to help unlock the achievements more easily. Experiment to find them all.

You must win every single round of the 15 fighters to face. Once you defeat the final boss you unlock Ryo. You will face him but you do not have to beat him. The achievement is unlocked as soon as the bout is about to start against Ryo.
For the best way to get to him please reference my "Survival" achievement strategy.

Couple of tricks to this achievement. Except for the two last characters, you can use the second controller to beat the other fighters.

In between fights, make sure to press the start button before the continue counter begins. Otherwise you will use one of player 2's continues.

For the last two characters you have to fight the CPU, but if you happen to lose a round, make sure to lose the second round as well, and use one of your continues. For this achievement, you only have to beat every fighter 2-0. By losing the match and using a continue, you void the loss from your record.

This can be time consuming, but still possible for most players. In the settings set it to Free Play. When the game starts set the difficulty to "Beginner" and pick your own character. You'll have to win every round, if you lose one round then let your opponent win and try again. You'll have to repeat this until you defeat Wolfgang Krauser. If you've done it right you will reach the "DREAM FIGHT" after defeating Wolfgang Krauser. The achievement will unlock as soon as the fight starts and your opponent will be Ryo Sakazaki from Art of Fighting. If you lose you can try again. You do not need to repeat the method used to reach him.

NOTE:
To unlock and get your ending you will need to defeat Ryo Sakazaki, the secret boss.
