Nulan in a forest. What possibly could go wrong?

This is the third of the Bonus Levels which is accessed from the main menu and unlocked after progressing through the main levels with Nulan. To unlock Nulan see the solution for:

The Secret Achievement achievement in Fearful Symmetry & The Cursed Prince worth 19 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

The level consists of projectile-shooting plants and bushes (left screen) with a maze of blue flames (right screen). In order to reach the end you need to utilize Nulan's skill to strategically eliminate the plants and use the bush obstacles to offset your characters.

There's definitely not something right here as when I get this far, I run into a plant:

Sorry but i see no issue. I ran through it several times on the bonus level "Forest on Fire" without any problems. Numbered top down from left to right, following the sequence you stopped at you should have eliminated plants #6 and #7 and are exactly to the bottom left of #5 under a bush.

This is going to sound really weird but when I go to do it, the plants don't light on fire and they don't shoot. Something definitely isn't working.

I dont know what more i can do to help mate. So it is not using your special ability at all when you hit space / X ?

There isn't anymore i can possibly add to the solution.

I changed my vote to an upvote, it's not on you, its definitely the game. Only the bushes burn, not the projectile enemies. It's weird.

Thanks. Yeah thats weird. Are you playing on Xbox One? I have only played on Windows and the only issue i have had is saving progress.

This doesn't require completing all levels with Nulan as the solution states, it only requires unlocking Nulan and completing her tutorial level to unlock the Forest on Fire bonus level.
