How to unlock the Striker Man of the Match. achievement in FIFA 07 - Definitive Guide

To get this you must play on semi-professional, and get man of match 50 times with a striker. This can be done in kick-off mode (play now). You can do this more easily by changing your players before the match, taking off all midfielders (and backs if you want) and replacing them with strikers in the same positions. They will be listed during game as the position they are playing, but it will count as a striker man of match at game end. You can also drop the attributes of the team you're playing against to make it easier to score/win in edit player mode.

So frustrating that in several games I score 3 or more goals with a striker and the GK ends up being man of the match, smh

For a striker to be Man of the Match, all you need to do is score a few goals with a striker. The achievement will unlock after strikers have been Man of the Match 50 times. You are very likely to unlock this achievement with the “Goal Getter” achievement.

Note: This does not need to be the same striker 50 times and does not include your opposition getting man of the match with a striker.
