i had a friend join and it wont let us play, went on head to head and i won but no achievement.....what am i doin wrong??

it probably should be the other way round, you should join his league and win a match there, he probably got the achievement for winning in your league

how do you start a match once you have joined each others league?

Yes, it is. Once in the hub, click on your friend's name to invite him to the match.

both you and your friend have to be member of the league,and logged online to your friends league,click on the name of your Club league, then click on standings located on top of the titles along recent games-playoffs-news-manager optionsclick on it you will see the name of your friend,click on it and choose invite to league game from the option,win the game and chevo is yours like I did,don't do invite to ranked or unraked match from adress bookit will not give nothing

Unachievable. You can't obtain this trophy anymore, as the servers have been shut down.

At the Main Menu, go to the Xbox Live menu, from here you can make a friends league, choose whatever options you want, nothing matters (Name, Amount Of Teams, Match Length etc.) Once you've created it, you should have the option to invite a friend. Do this, and play a friends league game against them. Simply win the game and it will pop up at the end!
