How to unlock the 10 vs 11 achievement in FIFA 12 - Definitive Guide

This achievement seems to be pretty glitchy.
Get your player sent off first then let the game run to extra time.
Then choose Golden Goal or Classic and win the game it should pop up right after the game.

(If you're having dififficulty getting sent off try letting the attacker of the other team have a clean run at goal then tackle from behind)

I have tried many times to get a red card. Even choosing the ref Rui Barbosa who is strict as hell. Only managed 3 yellow cards from violent tackles from behind. Nearly every slide tackle I made, my player seemed to hit an invisible wall and slide along side the opposing player. Having real trouble getting a red card.

I got it first try on Amateur difficulty. They scored on me once before I got two yellows with the same player resulting in a red obviously. Then I scored which tied the game 1-1. The game went into extra time, and I picked golden goal, scored and the achievement popped after the match ended.

This is pretty glitchy, I got it on my second go. Here's what worked for me:

Everton (me) vs Man Utd (CPU),
I scored an own goal and got one of my players sent off.
I then scored a goal against Man Utd (so 1-1).. waited until extra time.
I chose 'Classic'
I scored one goal in both sections of Classic extra time (so 3-1)...

Then when game ended, achievement popped.


I'm sure some of that is unnecessary but I didn't want to keep trying this over and over. If you follow above you are a weaker team vs a higher team, 1 goal down and 1 player down.. then get a draw bringing you to extra time... which you'll choose classic, score in both halves of classic just to make sure.

Hopefully achievement pops for you as well!

See Comeback Kid. If done correctly, you'll unlock this in the same match as Comeback Kid. If not, start another match, make sure you get a red card without getting ahead and then win the match.

We miss a goal. Further, it was not so easy to purposefully receive a red card by a specific player. It seems that it is no longer possible to shoot down the goalkeeper, and after the first yellow card I spent 3 whole games hunting the opponent with the yellow card. Whatever the tackle is, it’s clean, and you also seem to land behind him, but he runs away. In the end, I gave up on this matter and just started spamming , slightly directing his players towards the opponent. As a result, in 2 minutes - 2 yellow and 1 straight red. Next, we win the game using the trophy.

Before the start of the game, appoint a referee M. Barbosa (He is the strictest regarding violations and cards)!
