How to unlock the Silverware achievement in FIFA 14 - Definitive Guide

Start a Manager Career up and select Manchester United as your team.

Just ignore all messages received and sim all pre season friendlies. Your next match after the end of pre season will be the Community Shield match against Wigan Athletic. Just play and win this game and the achievement will unlock when you go back to the career hub after the match.

Except Wigan beat me 5 times running when simming lmao. Just save beforehand, and only takes 30 minutes an attempt.

Hi guys,
I have started a Manager Career before reading these hints.
Chosen Athletic Bilbao and played all the friendlies and started the season, no achievement.
What am I missing?

I think they must have patched this. I have won the Community Shield both by simming and playing and it didn't unlock :(

Lol first try just simmed the Community Shield to try, lost the match, and unlocked the achievement. I'll take it headspin

To have quickly take Paris Saint Germain. The first game after the friendlies will be the final of a cup against Girondins Bordeaux. You can even simulate the game by putting you in amateur :)

The easiest and fastest way to get this is:
-Start a new manager career and Man Utd.
-Sim all the way until the community shield.
-Sim or play the game against Wigan (Win) And it'll pop.

You can also do the same playing as Wigan(!)

Of course, but it would probably take longer if you want to sim the game and get the trophy.

Well being a Arsenal fan I found it hard to choose Man U. So are stuck RVP in the reserves and played, and won. Nice easy guide. Thanks

you can choose barcelona and sim the super copa de espana (since it's two legs there is more chance of you winning) and you'll get the achievement

This achievement is gained in the Manager Career mode. The quickest way to earn this is to select Manchester United as your chosen team, continue to skip all messages and simulate through every pre-season friendly game until you reach the Community Shield against Wigan Athletic. Win that match for the achievement. This will also count for any other trophy win such as the F.A Cup, Capital One Cup or the Champions (League) Cup.

Another manager career achievement. Just win any trophy to get this. You can get this one quickly by starting a career as either Manchester United or Wigan Athletic and winning the community shield.

We choose Manchester United and pretend until August, there is a super cup there, we win this match and the trophy is yours!
