Unless you intend on continuing your career mode after these trophies, it’s recommended you make a career mode save simply to select one of the financial powerhouses on the game, such as Barcelona or Real Madrid to sign a player with relative ease on first try. You’ll first have to search for a player to then shortlist them in the Transfer Hub, then select them in the Transfer Hub to approach to buy. You will have some cinematics for the transfer proposal, to which there will be several terms you’ll need to agree with the player’s current manager. Generally offering around a 25% mark-up on the transfer value will generally suffice, however if the manager refuses and proposes a counter-offer simply accept it just to secure the fee.

Once the cinematics are over (you can skip them all) you’ll then be back at the menus, where you’ll then need to negotiate wages and trigger more cinematics with the player. Again, a fair mark-up will generally be accepted but if countered simply accept what they propose. The trophy will pop after you’ve successfully negotiated the player wages. Green: You have successfully completed the signing of the player.
Red: You have failed to negotiate signing the player, unable to renegotiate.
Pink: You have agreed a transfer fee with the selling club, now must agree personal terms (i.e wages) with the player.
