VOLTA's Finest
Reach Division 3 in VOLTA Squads
How to unlock the VOLTA's Finest achievement in FIFA 21 - Definitive Guide
You will get this immediately, if you win all 5 placement matches.
Unlike Fut, you can simply force quit the game in the xbox dashboard in case you are about to loose. It won't count as a played placement match.
This may be patched, but works as of now

being in the 4th division, how many matches do you have to win to advance?

Can confirm one loss is still Div 3.

February 2023 Boosting Solution / Requires 2 Xboxes and a total of 6 accounts
Luckily this is a very simple boost as it doesn't require you to match up with accounts that have the same number of wins as you do unlike Ultimate Team. If you're doing both stacks of this game, I highly recommend doing the Xbox One version first as it'll pop on this version upon signing in

- Account 1 on Xbox 1: From the Main Menu go to Volta Football, then Play
- Select Volta Squads and then Play Solo
- Account 2 on Xbox 2: repeat the above process
- Have both accounts search at the same time, this game is dead enough they should match up almost immediately
- Have Account 1 score at least one goal, then have Account 2 score three owns goals to end the match and give Account 1 the win. The reason you want to score a goal is when I first tried this with just doing own goals, the win didn't count for me
- Log Account 2 out and sign Account 3 in, repeating the process. Do this for all five dummy accounts until Account 1 has five qualification wins
- Upon getting the fifth win, have Account 1 back out to the lobby. You will now be in Division 3 and the achievement should pop within a minute. Achievements pop VERY slow in this game

At the time of writing this tip, it is possible to get into the 3rd division in a simple way.
If you have not played the first 5 qualifying matches, you can quickly get into the 2nd division immediately after them and receive this trophy as you can win all these 5 matches without any problems.
To do this, go to Volta Lineups - Single Player , find an opponent and as soon as you manage to connect with him and start the match, play and try to win. But if you encounter an opponent higher than your level of play and you see that you will not be able to win this match, close the game right in the middle of the match using the PS button - Close application . Re-enter the game and you will see that the loss for this match was not counted towards you and you can try again. And so on until you manage to win all 5 matches (fewer victories may be enough - but it’s better not to risk it).
!It is also important to know that now there is often a bug due to which, after finding an opponent and loading a match, at the very beginning of the match, the game may report a disconnect and offer to exit to the menu. Do not do that. The game may count this as a loss. Instead, close the game via the PS button, launch it and try again.
If you have already played 5 qualifying matches and qualified for a division below 3, you can also use this method, win and wait for the game to promote you. It will take longer, but eventually you will reach division 3 and get the trophy.

4 wins and 1 draw in qualifying matches = 4th division, so for the third you need exactly 5 out of 5 wins.

To move to a new division, you need to play not up to rank 1, but play until the green “up” arrow appears next to the division number. And after that, wait until the event ends. We repeat until we get to division 3. The red arrow “down” signals, accordingly, a demotion in the division.
My statistics during the transition:
-from 5th division, to 4th (in-n-p) - 38-11-25
-from 4th division, to 3rd (w-n-p) - 46-9-5

At the moment, the glitch with leaving the game through the PS button (described above by the user NiKoLaRy) is still relevant and you will not receive a defeat for this. Therefore, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS TROPHY IMMEDIATELY THROUGH QUALIFICATION , using this glitch. This way you will save yourself several hours, or even a lot, depending on your skill.
