How to unlock the Top Flight Football achievement in FIFA 21 - Definitive Guide

Earned through playing Division Rivals. After each match that you finish you'll get FUT champs points.

To play division rivals from the Ultimate Team menu, simply select Play, then Division Rivals, then Play Rivals.

One thing to note - you do not need to redeem the points for the achievement to pop.

I think playing division rivals and earning rivals rewards is the only was as far as I’m aware, that’s the way it’s been for a number of years now

Despite the fact that they have shut down the Champions Weekend League for FIFA 21 since FIFA 22 is now active, you should still be able to earn this achievement without needing to spend your points.

Is the best way to get points just to play people online and hope to win/draw?

I know the servers are slightly dead, as it's been ages since the game came out now...

But I am managing to find people somewhat consistently while searching in Division 4!

The only issue is people have these crazy good teams... and I just keep losing to them...

So is there another way to get them at all or is Division Rivals Wins/Draws my best bet?

Because loses = 14 points in Div 4 and I'm easily going to go down Divisions it seems...

Okay, that's totally fair then, thanks for getting back to me!

I'm fairly out of the loop as I haven't played a FIFA for some years now honestly...

Thankfully I am managing to get it done slowly now and managing to get wins also too! ^^

Great to hear that your perseverance is paying off, hopefully you can box this off soon. I need this achievement on the XSX version of FIFA 22 myself and I’m struggling to bring myself to do it

One note that might be worth being aware of: any team that has completed placement and is playing division rivals must compete against at least two other teams before being able to match against the same opponent again. And that applies in both directions. So double boxing between just two accounts will not get you what you need, but each console will need a minimum of three accounts if you're going to boost, but likely more if you only have one other console that you're working with to complete the early placement matches because of how dead the servers are.

I'm at 1445 SR, I need to take a couple of losses so I can go back down to like 1300 SR.

Unlike previous FIFA installments, in this one you just need to accumulate 2000 points by playing Divisions Rivals.
At the end of the 2020/21 season, EA will turn off the Weekend League , but the trophy will still be available.
