Knockdown Keyshawn Hayes with a left hook in Champion Mode

25

How to unlock the Turnabout If Fair Play achievement in FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION - Definitive Guide

Keyshawn Hayes is the fifth fighter (excluding the one in prison) that you'll fight in Champion Mode.

You will be warned that he has a mean left hook and will attempt to knock you out with it.

Hayes is a very agressive fighter but he tends to throw power shots.
So you juste have to, keep your guard up, bob & weave and counter-attack right away when he misses. You can also mix fast & powerful punches in a more offensive fashion when he retreats, but that can prove to be dangerous. Oh, and expect to be floored once or twice in the match because, a single hook is all he need.

When he's finally dizzy, unleash you left hook.

It will pop up right away when you knock him down. No need for him to stay on the canvas or even for you to win the fight.

Unfortunately, you would have to restart the champion mode.

To speed up things, you can also put the AI to "amateur" and reduce the AI awareness in the "settings menu" on the "my corner" screen.

^^ Thanks Zombie ^^ I used the right stick and it was easy to push the wrong direction. (A) button is much easier.

Just a FYI, A left hook body blow does count to pop the achievement. You don't even have to KO Hayes, just knock him down.

I got it in round 2 by just mashing the jab as he don't seem to defend it well, then once stunned a left hook body blow got me the achievement. toast

Because it's a pretty obvious question, I found it quite hard to find the answer to "How do I do a Left Hook on Fight Night Champion." If anyone else is having trouble, standard controls have the [A] button as Left Hook.

I simply ignored every other button, blocked, swayed, and spammed [A] on the counter. Had him in one round.

This is fairly easy since you only have to score the knockdown against Hayes, not a KO. Hayes has a mean left hook which should he detonate it, could at least floor you or even KO you. Box like you normally would and when Keyshawn's stunned, just hit him with a left hook by pressing the right stick left.

This achievement can be easily missed. When you stun Hayes, throw nothing but left hooks. If you don't get the achievement, reload the checkpoint. The achievement will unlock after the match is over.

If my memory serves me correctly, this is the third official fight after leaving prison. The tips will tell you to be wary of his left hook and not to give up.

In general, we hit from under defense, trying to counterattack after his left hook. in the 2nd-3rd round you already need to knock him out ALWAYS with your left hand.
