Get up from a fourth knockdown during a Ranked Match

How to unlock the Will They Believe You? achievement in FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION - Definitive Guide

This achievement for the most part comes from lots of practice. I got up from all 4 knockdowns in the first round while helping a friend in the gym. the first 3 aren't too bad. in regards to the 4th, hold the stick to the left/right until you are about in the middle yellow bar, then let go and move up on the right stick, DO NOT move the stick backward as you will fly back in the direction you arose from. Touch very lightly if you must once you are just about standing as necessary. Very difficult achievement. I do not know why the TA score is only 170 and easy achievements like "I'm Just Doin My Jab" and "Numba One Stunna" are worth so much more. This achievement you cannot boost like the latter...

I also don't believe the ratio on TA for this. I was grinding towards 100 OWC matches and had oportunity to practice for this 100 times. Watched various tutorials on youtube, saw post on forums and nothing. I'm not that unexperienced gamer. this is so frustrating. In 100 tries I've managed to get up 5 times from 3rd KO. I haven't noticed that having good heart or chin helps. Also class (MW/LW/HW) doesn't help. I hate this game

I didn't even know about this achievement. It just popped when I got up from my FIRST EVER fourth knockdown. You have a good guide here.

This achievement is bullshit. I can only do the first 2 consistently and have only gotten up on the third by dumb luck 3 times.

haven't played champion in a while --- but to my recollection, the 4th is wayyy more sensitive than the 3rd knockdown. glad you got it tho @ IXI FalcoN

I hate this shit! Suceeded once doing this while practicing with a second controller. The third is also difficult but I seem to get the hang of it...facepalm

Edit: Just stumbled upon this old comment and I got it shortly after raging over this shit achievement

I'm convinced that part of my problem with this is the lag on my HDTV. I've tried using an older tv and a..l..m..o..s..t got it. This achievement is so twitchy that the slightest lag will cause you to go over.

This is all I need to finish FNC. I'm going to try to set up an old CRT over the weekend and destroy this thing. You know how hard those are to find?

Posting this way late in this game's life but I actually got this in my like, third online match ever and I got up 5 times. Maybe they made it easier? I was using Tyson because I have no clue about this game's meta, opponent had Ali and I think part of it came from the damage I took, he was scoring flash knockdowns via a cheap jab, straight, straight combo. For some reason I kept getting knocked down but the hits were so weak I took no damage from it. Might be worth trying, get knocked down by getting hit with straights when winded.

@endless404 dude you miscounted. You only got up from 4 knockdowns in total. Not 5 lol

Finally got it and wow did this suck. I think I got the trick down because I got up on the 3rd knockdown about 5 or 6 times in a row before finally getting the 4th. They key to it is to keep the meter in the green the whole time while getting up. You have to be actively flicking the left stick, gently of course. I found it more helpful to watch my boxer while he was standing up then to stare at the meter. If you see him swaying slightly left or right, compensate by lightly hitting the stick in the opposite direction. If he starts to go down again, don't panic, just ease off the right stick and go for it again.

The 4th knockdown is really no harder then the 3rd, it just takes longer to initially get in the green which means less time to steady yourself. Once you can consistently get up on the 3rd it's only a matter of time until you get up on the 4th.

This is quite a tough but doable trophy. The myth that is ‘lighter fighters have a better chance of getting up because they are light’ is the biggest BS in the world. I’ve gotten up 4 times with Tyson, Frazier, Hopkins, Mosley and Pacquiao so ANY fighter can get up as long as they have a good Heart Rating. I would recommend boosting this in Ranked Matches with a partner because the OWC Created Boxers are hopeless to use for this trophy. Go on Player Hub and invite your friend to a match. The type should say Unranked Match and cannot be changed so instead change the weightclasses around then press to reset. The match type should now say Ranked Match. Select Heavyweight and I would personally recommend using Smokin’ Joe because it usually works with him. Have your friend knock you down as soon as the fight starts and continue to do so until you manage to get up 4 times.

Most importantly keep your Stamina up, even if your Damage is low. Getting up after a 2nd knockdown takes practice. A 3rd or 4th will take a lot of practice. The best way to do this is with a boosting partner in an Online Gym. Let a boosting partner knock you down. When you're down, do not hold the  left or right. Move it slowly by hitting the  one click at a time. This achievement will take practice, but it can be done.

I recommend moving up in the first two rounds and also for pumped-up lightweights, they calmly rise after the third knockdown, Holyfield is optimal for heavyweights... I went up as my fighter in the 6th round, pumping up the fighter 90, half the stamina...
