How to unlock the Jawbreaker's nightmare achievement in Fighters Uncaged - Definitive Guide

Jawbreaker. Should be Jawbroken instead.

Here is a strategy to defeat Jawbreaker (and help you score in the lower leagues)

A few things to note about the AI:

He likes to kick. He does punch occasionally however.
Whenever he causes a knee dodge prompt, if you miss it, he will usually follow up with 2 kicks that each can be dodged. The first one can be counter attacked when dodged but the other one can only be dodged.

When he starts to get lower in focus, he'll throw out four string punch sequences. Keep your guard up since that string hurts if it hits.

What I did was knee dodged or dodged and countered with a sweep. While he is on the ground, straight punch to close the distance to medium range. Right afterwards, keep throwing multiple fast straight punches until it misses or he dodges.

Repeat until you win. Since its not going to be that easy all the time, when you get a Super Strike, straight punch his head. You can try to string straight punches afterwards as well but its not as effective as after the sweep.

He is easy to blind, especially when countering with Elbows, but the status itself doesn't change his AI pattern from what I could tell.

The reason why the strategy isn't just straight punches is that he'll push himself to long range constantly and the kinect won't always catch up with the straight punches fast enough to close the gap before he does a long range kick. He'll kick you for more damage before your punches can. You can try to string punches and survive the dodge prompts but the timing was too short for my liking while punching.

His weak spot is his head.

With this strategy, I scored 15,939 in Open League.
