How to unlock the Ratface's nightmare achievement in Fighters Uncaged - Definitive Guide
This guy..
He floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.... and takes hits like a chump.
Ratface would probably be one of the hardest in the game if it wasn't for the fact headshots do massive damage to him.
This is the strategy I used for Ratface: (it should also work for the lower leagues to help score as well)
If you've read my Jawbreaker strategy, its quite similar.
Ratface's AI loves to kick, only hes all over the place.
He starts the round either with a Right Round Kick that needs to be knee dodge or a bunch of other kicks that can be dodged.
If you fail to dodge the Right Round Kick at the beginning of the round, expect two hard hitting follow up kicks that are very hard to dodge. Those follows up are slower later in the round, but still nothing to scoff at.
Later on in the match, if you're in close or mid-range, instead of pushing you or moving to long range, he may do a 4 punch string that is fairly slow. Straight Kick him into long range. His punches are slow which will drain time off the clock and leave you in bad positioning to his follow ups.
To beat him, you need to do one of these two techniques, whichever occurs at the moment.
-You need to sweep counter him after a Knee dodge or regular dodge.
The moment after you sweep him, as soon as you can, do non-stop straight punches until he blocks it. If you wait until he stands up, you'll only get 1-2 punches but if you pre-strike, you'll get about 4-5 punches in.
- When you get your super strike, hit him with a Straight Punch Super Strike and follow it up with non-stop straight punches until he blocks it.
Same concept as above, you're hoping to get about 3-4 punches in.
Make sure you don't continue punching after he blocks or he'll start retaliating hard.
Rinse and repeat until he is defeated. That strategy may sound stupid but he takes headshot damage like a chump so this knocks him out very very quickly.
In the rare opportunity that you trigger Combo 3, take full advantage of it. (Right Elbow, Left Knee, Left Knee, Spinning Heel Kick -> Staggered)
3.If your opponent dodges a strike, follow up with a Right Elbow Strike before he raises his guard.
Once hes staggered, you can rapid Straight Punch him and beat him with lots of time left on the Staggered meter.
With this strategy, I scored 17,113 in Open League.
