KO your opponent while he's groggy

How to unlock the The Sandman achievement in Fighters Uncaged - Definitive Guide

This Achievement is called "The Sandman": KO Your Opponent While He's Groggy (secret)

First thing you need to do is make your opponent GROGGY. In order to do this, you need to do some chain damage strikes. This is different from the 8 different COMBOS that you will find in the Lessons menu, and then under ADVICE.

Chain Strike for Groggy: Hit your opponent with an Uppercut and then start a chain with Hooks (punches).

Example: Uppercut>Left Hook>Right Hook
You must hit your opponent with every chain strike for the GROGGY'ness to take affect. Once your opponent is in the GROGGY state, simply KO him. Knock his ass out!.....before he regains his senses. Blip, achievement pops.

Obviously this is easiest to get when your opponent has only a small amount of health left. Hope it helps.
And don't forget that most of the information needed for any type of strike or maneuver, is in-game under the Lessons menu.

thanx, and yes you are right, though, the whole game is about timing.

not getting it. two rounds in a row it said he was groggy and before the bar went away I knocked him out. any more details? or a video somewhere? In fact I get my opponent groggy almost every match and that's when I usually beat him. are you saying the chain strikes need to be done when he is groggy? because I saw another explanation that states to just simply sweep the enemy when they are groggy.

when he is groggy you have to KO him. its all about timing it properly. you need to KO him before he regains his senses. everything has been explained to the fullest in the solution. i have not played this game for a very long time so i can't help you out any further than that. keep trying and good luck.

getting the groggy is the issue. I have no comprehension of how. I get one may two hits and he always counters my counter attack. so frustrating. I got my first groggy ever today and I hardly got a hit in because he was being super hard to fight.

The advice section only list what groggy is. then the chain section says what a chain is but not how to execute it. Not helpful at all. I got it once today. I can get 1 hit consistently. Quite often I even get two in. once in awhile I get three hits. but it seems to take 4 hits and he always interrupts me when I am doing the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th strike. there is no chain there. Do I need to counter first? What distance should I be at?

They don't actually need to be "chained" I did a uppercut > right hook (he dodged) right hook (hit) right hook (he dodged) right hook (it hit) and he became groggy.

He was fully exhausted which probably explains why he didn't counter after any of the dodges.

If anyone wonders I did it against Rider.

I'm also pretty sure you can't get groggy during leg pain or any other effect.
