How to unlock the Inner Demons achievement in FINAL FANTASY VII - Definitive Guide

Vincent's Limit Breaks:
Level 1 - Galian Beast - Starting Limit Break
Level 2 - Death Gigas - Defeat 40 enemies in battle
Level 3 - Hellmasker - Deafeat 56 enemies in battle after obtaining Death Gigas Limit Break
Level 4 - Chaos - Use the item Chaos

To obtain the item Chaos, Vincent's final Limit Break, an Ultimate Weapon and this achievement you must do a small side quest which can done after completing the Underwater Submarine Battle and obtained the Shinra Sub vehicle.

Take the sub and travel above water over to the peninsula where Costa del Sol is located. Go in behind into the waters on the west side of Costa del Sol and look for a river with one grassy side on the left and a rocky side on the right

Submerge the Shinra Sub and you should find a cave nearby.

Bring the sub back up to the surface when you reach the waters on the other side of the cave and then dock your sub on the rocky ground on the west side of the pool.

Add Vincent into your current party and then enter the cave for a cutscene.

The game will automatically place your party back outside of the Cave once the dialogue has concluded.
After engaging in 10 battles return to the same Cave with Vincent in your party again to retrieve his Ultimate Weapon, Death Penalty and his Level 4 Limit Break, Chaos.

Vincent's Limit Breaks are as follows:

Lv. 1 Limit Break: Galian Beast (default)

Lv. 2 Limit Break: Death Gigas (kill 40 enemies while on Lv. 1 Limit)

Lv. 3 Limit Break: Hellmasker (kill 56 enemies while on Lv. 2 Limit)

You can obtain his final limit break, Chaos, the moment you get the submarine. You'll want to scan the underwater walls between the Nibel area and Gold Saucer. You'll find a crack that will take you to a dead end. Float up and you'll find a small cave on a tiny bit of land you can enter. Enter it with a Vincent in your party to get a small scene. Afterward, leave and fight 10 battles(the land outside the cave doesn't have random encounters) and return. You'll find his final limit which will lead to your trophy after it's learned.

there's one thing missing from this guide. the cave mentioned can be reached by doing the long and tedious task of breeding a Gold Chocobo and going to the cave while riding it.

Vincent's Level 4 Limit Break Chaos can be found inside the Crystal Cave behind the waterfall at the end of the river west of Costal del Sol. Once you find the cave (see here for screenshots to help you), you'll see a short scene and get kicked back outside. Fight ten random encounters, then re-enter the cave to obtain the item.

Note: You must learn all of Vincent's Level 1-3 Limit Breaks before you can use the item that teaches his Level 4 skill. See here for how to unlock Vincent's Limit Breaks.

To obtain Vincent’s Chaos Limit Break, use a Green, Black or Gold Chocobo or the submarine to access a waterfall cave near Nibelheim with Vincent in the party.

Following the events in the cave, exit to the world map and fight ten random encounters. Return to the cave and obtain the Chaos Limit Break manual. Use this item on Vincent and you will obtain this trophy.

 


You will obtain the Chaos Limit Break when you return to the cave after ten battles.

To get Chaos, you need to go to the cave under the waterfall, located by the lake in the center of the Western Continent. To do this, you should use a submarine or a Chocobo that can run across the ocean. You need to visit this place twice: the first time on the second disc (a short scene will follow, telling about Vincent's former life) and the second time on the third disc (examine the light source in the center of the room). In the same place you will receive the last weapon for Vincent.

After Vincent talks to Lucrecia, exit the cave. Then sail to the continent (if you are on a submarine), take part in 10 battles and return back to the cave under the waterfall. Go to where Lucrecia stood and take Vincent's last limit.
