Not so much a guide as this will pop a while after you get your first pay cheque from Garden. However, to increase that salary, below is the answers from my old FFVIII guide.

There are ten questions in total. Per exam. To increase your rank simply go to the tutorial section in the menu and select TEST. Input the following answers and you will hit the max rank eventually.

It is worth noting that you can ONLY PERFORM the test up to your current level. Example, if you are level 15 as squall, you can only take the first 15 exams.
