How to unlock the FFX: Weapon Master achievement in FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster - Definitive Guide
To get this achievement, you need to have full access to the airship, which is unlocked after Zanarkand in the main story. Once this is complete, you only need to obtain the celestial weapons for each character - you DO NOT need to power them up with their crests/sigils.
To get the mirror:
Go to the calm lands, talk to the chocobo trainer, and ask to ride a chocobo. Once you're on the chocobo, head towards the entrance to the calm lands from the Macalania Woods; past the entrance to the woods, there is a gold feather on the ground. Activate the feather, and your chocobo will fly down to a small outcrop. Dismount the chocobo, and go through the opening to get to the Remiem Temple. Cross the bridge, and turn left. Go to the sphere on the ground next to the chocobo there to be given information on a race. Now, go past the save sphere to the other side and ride the chocobo. You have to win the race to get the cloudy mirror - ignore the chests and pillars, and run to the center of the area. When you win, you'll be given the cloudy mirror.
Go to the save sphere, get on the airship, and go to lake macalania. From here, go back to the woods and take the southeast path over a new, quick route to get back to the beginning of the Macalania Woods. Talk to the lady you encounter on the path, and remember this spot. It will be used after a mini-quest to power up the mirror, and later, power up the weapons you obtain with any of the crests or sigils you unlock, although the power-ups are not required. Once you reach the save sphere area, you will see a woman and a child to the right. Talk to both of them, then head right a screen and north a screen to the camp area you were at during the story. Talk to the man here, and tell him his family is waiting over there. Go back to where the mother and child were, and talk to them a few times each. They'll eventually tell you their son is missing. Go up the rainbow path again to the area I said to remember, and talk to the child there. When prompted, say "Yes" to using the mirror, and it will transform into the celestial mirror - used to activate areas you receive the celestial weapons from.
Now that you have the celestial mirror(NOT cloudly, see above), weapon locations:
Caladbolg (Tidus) - You must complete the "Catcher Chocobo" challenge from the chocobo trainer in the Calm Lands. Once you have beaten her, a man guarding the path to the weapon moves. If you leave the area before going to get the weapon, he re-appears and you have to win the race again. The path is in the north-western portion of the calm lands; you will see a small path on the map here. Go down, and use your newly acquired Celestial Mirror to open the chest and get the weapon.
Nirvana (Yuna) - Capture 1 of every monster in the Calm Lands, then go to the monster arena. A chest will appear in front of him, which can only be opened if you have the celestial mirror.
Masamune (Auron) - First, you need the rusty sword. This is obtained just north of the Calm Lands near the caveryn of the stolen fayth where you unlock Yojimbo. Take the path north of the calm lands towards Mt. Gagazet, and head down into the valley instead of up the mountain. Once here, go right (away from the cavern of the stolen fayth) and you will see a small podium with the sword in it. Once you have the rusty sword, head to the Djose Highroad. Walk west towards a green square on the map and climb over the boxes. Follow this path until you reach an elevator. Ride it up and press a button when prompted to use the rusty sword. A glyph will appear, which will give you the weapon once you interact with it. **IMPORTANT** be sure to return the way you came to get back to a save sphere. If you continue on this path, the Magus Sisters will attack, and you will not be strong enough to defeat them at this time.
World Champion (Wakka) - This one requires you to have played Blitzball and placed at least 3rd in a tournament. The one during the story in Luca does not count. Once you have achieved this, go to Luca and head into the town center where you went to find Auron. In the bar/cafe area there (where the fight scene between Kimahri took place), talk to the owner to get the weapon.
Onion Knight (Lulu) - This is unlocked while trying to obtain the bonus aeon, Anima. On the airship, use the coordinate finder option to locate Baaj Temple at X14, Y57. Be sure to have some stone-proof armor for the fight ahead, and travel there. Jump into the water, and swim forward to eventually be attacked by a familiar fiend from the beginning of the game. Once you defeat Geosgaeno, a treasure chest appears in the southern part of the area which contains the Onion Knight.
Spirit Lance (Kimahri) - You will want armor with "No Encounters" for this. Go to the Thunder Plains, and go inside the travel agency here to read a book. It will tell you about Quactars in the thunder plains. Once you have read this, you will need to find 3 glowing Quactar statues in the Thunder Plains to pray at. The glowing one moves around, so you will have to search for them. Once you have prayed at 3, a small Quactar ghost appears to lead you to the chest containing the weapon. If you are having trouble following it, the chest is near and old and leaning over lightning tower on the right side of the first area.
Godhand (Rikku) - This is the easiest one, so I saved it for last. On the airship, choose the "Enter Password" option, and put in "GODHAND". This will unlock "Mushroom rock road" as a travel option. Travel to this area, run north, and open the chest to get the weapon.
Thanks for reading along! If you have any questions, please ask in the comments. If you negative vote, please tell me why so I can improve the guide!

Thanks for confirming they don't have to be the "powered up" version. I don't think I'll ever have the patience to get lulu's or wakka's up to full power.

Super helpfull guide! Thanks alot! I might've run into a visual bug trying to get the Kimahri weapon so I'd figure I'd post my experience here.
This one was on the Northern trail. It was my last stone I needed and the first stone there was glowing but I missed it because of a fight. The second northern trail stone was glowing for only a few seconds and when I got there it wasn't anymore but it still counted.
