This will pop automatically before long. I got it before I was even level 10, but if you somehow don't, Gambits also work, so set your Gambit to attack any enemy and just attack smallfry in the desert.
I would assume that ALL attacks, yours and the AI, as I don't feel as if I attacked that much when it unlocked.
