The Concurrence in FF12 is an additional bonus you can get as a result of chaining together quickenings.
In order to go for this achievement you must first have 3 characters will a full 3 bars of mist ability, which can be easily gotten on the license boards. Once you have this the Concurrence have the following requirements, for 8 in total they are.
Inferno (3x Level 1 Quickening)
Cataclysm (6x Level 1 Quickening)
Torrent (2x Level 1 & 2x Level 2 Quickening)
Windburst (4x level 2 Quickening)
Whiteout (4x Level 3 quickening)
Ark Blast (2x Level 1 & 2x Level 2 & 2x Level 3 Quickening)
Luminescence (3x Level 1 & 3x Level 2 & 3x Level 3 Quickening)
Black Hole (4x Level 1 & 4x Level 2 & 4x Level 3 Quickening)
Now the game will always try to give you the best Concurrence you have chained, so if you are going for something like Windburst they you should stop once you know you have the requirements (even if you have more mist available to use).
As for tips on the harder ones, always start with the level 3s, and if you have an option to do a mist charge in the quickening you should ways take it. Unfortunately the last couple do depend on a bit of luck to get.

This is not going to be fun at all. I got black hole ONCE in my 200+ hour original release playthrough and I still have no idea how I did it. It was a lot of button mashing and luck...it seemed that towards the end, if you don't have a mist charge already your screwed. It's way too fast to get the charge and pull off another quickening. Could've been just me though...lol gonna suck trying to get this

Yeah Black hole is the pain one, Its the only one I need to get in this version now. and same on original, must have only got it a few times.

This is the ONLY thing I was never able to do in the actual PS2 version, and I have... jesus SO many hours and so many playthroughs of this game. Yiazmat and Zodiark and the Great Crystal? Pieces of piss compared to this. Good luck everyone. :)

is there a way to slow down the timer?
Be aware of achievement glitch, I have done all of them a few different times throughout normal play through and it still has me stuck at 87% for achievo.

It's one of the last ones I need, been going at it for at least 3 hours now and just keeping getting everything but Blackout.
Pain in the arse achievement, no clue how I will get this. Guess I will have to stick on netflix whilst doing this.

I'm really not sure if I got lucky as hell on this but I was using Vaan, Basch and Ashe for about 3 hours with no luck, not even close. Clutching at the proverbial straw I switched Basch and Ashe out for Fran and Balthier and got it first time.
Not sure if that's a thing or like I said I got lucky.

Whiteout was the last one for me. Popped it on my first try starting with a Level 3 quickening instead of a Level 2.
You can get the others through repetition and muscle memory. You can chain 18+ with enough luck on the rerolls.

Luck or not, this seemed easier than I thought it would be. I got the last one (black hole) mist attack done after I chained a 15 hit combo in total versus an esper with Fran, Basch and Vaan. And all I did, was repeatedly tap one type of button (8/10 good hits) and rarely had to shuffle for new ones or quickly correct my button press according on screen.

Got Black Hole on my first attempt after getting my main party 3 quickenings each. Literally just spam the YXA buttons, and RT when you can't get any of them, while keeping count like Blue Radium said, I got 4 each after 13 hits. Still shocked, I just wanted to kill a Hunt

I wish I knew this before spending hours attempting this achievement: The "time" you spend deciding which action to choose has great impact on your success.
I realize this after reading comment from Blue Radium and a few others, . Early on, don't waste too much time checking and deciding, just spam the buttons that are available to choose from.
1- Your top priority is to quickly choose the button prompt (that's why they called it Quickening). This way, it will give you time to continue the chain.
2- If "Mist Charge" is available, use it if you can. But this is not your top priority. Don't shuffle around just to get free Mist Charge.
3- The only time you need to do the shuffle is when there is no option available. This is also the only time you, unavoidably, have to waste.
So if you reach chain 13 or above, you will have a much better chance to land on the last few concurrences. It is still random but it is much better than being not able to reach even chain 9.

Got it today, here's 2 HUGE tips I saw on other forums:
Plug in your controller to save time
The milliseconds of input lag at the start of each button prompt WILL make you waste time. Believe me, saving those extra milliseconds helped a LOT.
Remap 'button B' to 'right trigger RT'
Pressing B to shuffle commands instead of RT is way easier, faster and more reliable.
Unfortunately this is only possible using the official Elite controller or third-parties like 8BitDo, GameSir, etc.

To get Black Hole, focused on Mist Charges as TheFirstWonder suggests and plugged in my controller as Oathiel suggests and I got it in just one try after that. After blindly trying for a good while before that. I was stupidly skipping Mist Charges if a number I still needed appeared instead. 😅 I do feel like plugging in my controller did make enough of a difference to help.
(I was only missing Black Hole and Cataclysm)

The trick is going really, really fast with your selections. The time pool doesn't reset after each button - the bar counts down faster because your total time left is lower. That was my mistake, thinking each button press was it's own pool of time. It took me about 15 minutes, once I made it my goal to press a button literally as soon as the game would let me unless I had no choice but to shuffle. Tried to strategize mist charges with shuffles for about 2 hours prior to that.
Also, keep a mental tracker of 1, 2, and 3 cost by saying to yourself 0 0 1, 0 0 2, 1 0 2, etc as you go. This can keep you from doing 3 5 4 instead of 4 4 4 and the like, if you have a choice between 1 and 2 and need a 1 cost to get black hole. If I hadn't been doing this then the run I got black hole on would have failed/it caused me to make a decision that made my 12 combo the right amounts.

I saw the comments and I thought I was going to have a hard time with this achievement, but it was way easier that I thought. Yes it is RNG and you have to be somewhat lucky, but knowing how to properly chain your quickenings to better increase your odds helps a lot. For example: Don't blow all 3 level 3 quickenings right out of the gate. You'll just be left with no more quickenings to use and will have to shuffle to find the next one.
Instead, what I did was start with 2 level 3 quickenings and then used the 3rd character's level 1 followed by a level 2 quickening or Vice versa (might have to hit a shuffle). This will allow an extra turn or 2 to get a mist charge. If you see a mist charge, hit it before anything else so you'll have another quickening now added. After that, it comes down to a little bit of luck and good RNG. At least this helps increase your odds. I got Black Hole after 5 tries and Luminescence after 1 try doing it this way.
