Go and see the sights in Nautilus, Cocoon's largest amusement park. There are 2 major battles in this chapter.
The penultimate fight of the chapter is against a Midlight Reaper, a quadruped tank. Have your synergist concentrate on buffing your party, you saboteur will be able to hit it with Imperil. From there ravage it and heal as needed. You should be able to stagger it 2-3 times.
The final battle is against the eidolon Brynhildr. This eidolon yeilds to those who amass chain bonuses and buff party members. Build up your party with your synergist and then ravage it. Heal as needed, and hit X when the gestalt gauge fills.

This is a story related achievement, which will unlock with natural progression through the game.
It will unlock towards the beginning of Chapter 9.

Just like in Chapter 3, the final boss of Chapter 8 is an Eidolon. This time it’s Brynhildr, and again it’s very easy. Start in SYN/SAB and have Sazh stick Haste, Shell and Protect on both characters, whilst Vanille puts Deprotect, Deshell and Imperil on the Eidolon. Its Gestalt Gauge will increase quickest by amassing its chain gauge, so switch to RAV/RAV to maximise this, and switch to RAV/MED if you need to heal. Once the Gestalt Gauge is full, press 
to end the battle.
Once you gain control of Lightning on the Lindblum, this trophy will unlock.
