How to unlock the Birdybuilder achievement in FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER: COMRADES - Definitive Guide
Newcomers refer to Original Post:
To get a chocobo, you'll need to complete missions that have a chocobo icon next to them on the mission list. It can be any mission. This shouldn't take very many attempts to get one that can be raised to Level 99. You'll know you have a good one if it starts at Level 50, and has the description "This bird roosts at the top of the pecking order!" when you check its info at the Stable (which is accessed via the Elevator at the Hidden Harbor).
Now, once you get a bird that can get to L99, you'll want to pay attention to the bars at the bottom right of the screen when you train. Depending on the level, you'll have two or all three stats with yellow progress bars, and you need to get all of them to the end and turned white before you use up all your training attempts to unlock the next set of ten levels. I would suggest starting with a single stat rather than "Overall" and if you get a message that says the bird will do well from another training of the same type, choose it again. If not, choose something else. Repeat this method and vary your training to try and max out all the bar withing ten training attempts.
As you train, various bonuses could happen if you repeat sessions or pick specific stats to train. Pay attention to the dialogue that comes up after each training attempt. If you ever get the Motivation prompt, be sure to use that. If your exhaustion level starts to get too high and changes to orange or red, back off that stat even if you got a message that it would be a good choice. If your bird gets hurt, you're forced to rest, and you likely won't unlock the next set of levels. If you do unlock the next set, that would be an optimal time to rest once or twice if possible to prepare for the next set.
Again, due to the random nature of this achievement, I can't offer too much in the way of advice aside from dashboarding and quitting the game without hitting to back out of the training screen if you fail to unlock the next set of levels. Every time you do unlock the next set, back out to save your progress before starting the next training attempts. Search "FFXV Comrades Level 99 Chocobo" on YouTube if you want to watch people do it and get familiar with some of the training messages, but don't expect to duplicate what they've done.
Note: If you completed this achievement from the DLC version of Comrades inside FFXV (it was called "Chocobreeder" in that version) and transferred your character, it will unlock as soon as you check your chocobo stable for the first time.
First you need to get a level 50 chocobo.
