How to unlock the Comrades in Arms achievement in FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER: COMRADES - Definitive Guide
Hunting the Garulessa -> Shack under Siege
Road to Old Lestallum -> Protect the Pylon
Naga Extermination -> Road To Lestallum
Completing the second quest in the line is the key to the opportunity to make the secret quest show up. After you've done any of those 3 the quest select screen should have a tab on the far right that is titled future. This mission has no recommended level and you will not be able to bring you custom character along because you will be playing as one of the 4 main characters from the end of the main story line which are Noctis, Gladiolus, Promto and Ignis. The mission itself isn't too hard and if you know how to play them it's an added bonus and will make the mission go by fast.
When you load up Comrades after the new title update, a new quest will be available at the counter called "Departure" which has you playing as one of the four main boys at set levels and with set equipment. You can jump into these at any time since you can't influence them at all. Each quest is identical aside from who you play as, and all of them are quite simple except for the final battle against King Behemoth. Here are some tips:
- Always have some kind of food in your inventory. This will resurrect you if you die. Plenty of food is scattered throughout this mission, and there are multiple sitting at the peak during the boss fight as well. If you do go down, immediately head to the edges of the peak to find a new food item before rejoining the fight.
- Using Ignis, I would suggest staying far away from the boss and just hold to charge up Total Clarity, then use it right away. Rinse and repeat for a fairly uneventful battle.
- Using Gladio, he can get up close and personal without too much issue. He'll likely still go down once or twice, but he can take some hits unlike the others. Once his Maelstrom is charged, use it and be sure to hit when the prompt shows up to link it into the Dual Master technique.
- Using Noctis, try to use warp strikes and be on the move as much as possible. Use his sword for the most damage, and use the Armiger with + as soon as it is charged (the circle around your weapons in the bottom left).
- Using Prompto, just stay back and use his normal ranged attacks. Save all his premium ammo for the boss and then use all three launcher shots, all 100 rifle bullets, and the grenade as soon as the fight starts. After that, save up for his fully charged Trigger Happy attack and repeat that until done.
Once you complete the quest with all four boys, the achievement will unlock.
Note: If you completed this achievement from the DLC version of Comrades inside FFXV (it was called "Beacons of Hope" in that version) and transferred your character, you will need to replay at least one character's mission and it will unlock after - it does not matter which bro you choose.
The quest "Comrades: Departure" is given by Monica.
You need to complete this task for each of the 4 main characters.
