Once you reach Galdin Quay you will learn the Ferry is out of service. On your way back to the Regalia you will run into Dino who will ask you to get a garnet stone for him. Head to rest of the way back to the Regalia and you will be taken to a cliff side. Take the left path up the cliff side to reach a large rock at the end of the path. Push this rock down to make a bridge across the lower cliff side gap. Continue on the lower path and it will lead you up to a Zu.
As a side note,
Once you reach the Zu you will begin a minigame of stop and go. Click the mouse button to stop when the Zu seems to wake up. If you fail, you only get pushed back a small amount, so don't worry too much about failing. After finishing the minigame and reaching the node, you will pick up the garnet and automatically return to Dino.
