How to unlock the Faithful Heir achievement in FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION - Definitive Guide

This achievement will take reaching chapter 9 to become available for unlocking.

It requires two distinct components for collecting the royal arms: seven are from the story and six have requirements that need to be fulfilled.

  1. Path of the Fierce: Unlocks the Mace of the Fierce - Broke 50 enemies (this is when they are glowing purple and you break their attack).
  2. Path of the Rogue: Unlocks the Star of the Rogue - Start 30 battles with warp-strike.
  3. Path of the Clever: Unlocks the Bow of the Clever - Issue 50 ally commands.
  4. Path of the Just: Unlocks the Shield of the Just - Parry 50 times.
  5. Path of the Pious: Unlocks the Scepter of the Pious - 10 royal arm activations
  6. Path of the Tall: Unlocks the Sword of the Tall - Kill all enemies in 3 different dungeons
When you have unlocked those respected achievements and made it through chapter nine head back to the map and notice what look like tomb doors near chapters 1-5. Click on each of these to acquire one of the royal arms from above. With the last one being clicked the achievement will unlock.

These are given automatically via the story:

  • Sword of the Wise
  • Axe of the Conqueror
  • Swords of the Wanderer
  • Blade of the Mystic
  • Katana of the Warrior
  • Trident of the Oracle
  • Sword of the Father

These are unlocked via other achievements, and are then collected on the Chapter Select map. After you unlock one of the achievements below, you'll need to finish the current chapter and then find a glowing tomb on the map. Click on it to receive the weapon.

  • Greatsword of the Tall - "Path of the Tall" achievement
  • Mace of the Fierce - "Path of the Fierce" achievement
  • Star of the Rogue - "Path of the Rogue" achievement
  • Shield of the Just - "Path of the Just" achievement
  • Scepter of the Pious - "Path of the Pious" achievement
  • Bow of the Clever - "Path of the Clever" achievement
