How to unlock the The Life and Times of Raccoon Carter achievement in Firewatch - Definitive Guide
This trophy can be obtained as early as Day 77. At the start of Day 77, you need to examine the Flora poster and look at the Cottonwood tree as instructed by Delilah. Your new objective will be to head to Cottonwood Creek, but before doing this objective. It's best to obtain two more missable trophies before doing anything else. Make your way back to Cave 452 and then head North until you come to a sign that reads you're 0.2 miles from Beartooth Point. Head towards the right of this sign and you will eventually find an Old Cabin. Open the door using , go inside the old cabin and head downstairs. Walk over to the Old Stove and press to open it. A Raccoon will jump out of it and attack you before fleeing, which will unlock the trophy.
Below is a photo of where the Raccoon is located at:
From your tower, head down the path behind to the cave. On the far side, follow the wires as per Day 2 until you see a sign stating Beartooth Point / Thorofare Fire Lookout (if you've gone for the Ol' Shoshone trophy first, just retrace your steps to the above sign). From here take a sharp right -- you should see an old outhouse. Beyond that is a half-collapsed cabin. Head down the stairs inside and interact with the stove to get your trophy.
This can be completed as early as Day 77. When you start Day 77, head north toward Beartooth Point. About halfway there (between the words "Thorofare Trail" and "Telephone"), the trail splits once and then again. After the split, look for an old outhouse that is falling apart (it contains the lyrics to Ol' Shoshone inside). From the outhouse, head east and look for an old cabin that is falling apart. Inside, go into the basement and open the stove. A raccoon should jump out and the achievement will unlock.
In the evening, returning from the lake along the canyon, at the cave I turned left up to the pillars.
Almost in the dark, in a burnt house, I found a raccoon in a closed oven.
Knocked it out in free play.
