Simply beat a time trial with Gold in Career Mode. You shouldn't have any problem getting at least one Gold in a Time Trial, but if you are struggling, I'd suggest try upgrading the Acceleration and Top Speed for your car first, or even try using another vehicle. Don't upgrade Nitro though, as you don't have access to it in Time Trial.
