How to unlock the Cutting Edge achievement in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn - Definitive Guide

As mentioned in the Road Map, you will want to use the Reputation exploit in War Hero (20G) to get a large bank of rep to use for upgrading weapons. You'll need about 90-100k to upgrade a weapon to Rank 6 (Masterwork). You'll also need various amount of Iron, Wood, and Sulfur to upgrade most equipment.
Warning: Resources (iron/wood/sulfur) do not respawn, and there is a limited number of them in the game. I assume you can find enough to upgrade at least one piece of equipment for each achievement, but if you tried to upgrade every piece of equipment possible, you'd likely run out. Be very careful when upgrading anything, and as I've mentioned you should hang on to everything and only upgrade one main weapon to use during the story until you get all the crafting achievements.
For this achievement, Nor’s Axe, Harbinger’s Axe, Herald’s Blade, and Irregular’s Axe all count as "sharp" melee weapons.
