How to unlock the Saved the Pilgrims achievement in Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD - Definitive Guide
As per the trophy description, you need to complete the entire game without losing a single pilgrim (this doesn’t have to be done in one sitting). There are seven worlds in total to complete, all containing four levels each:
- Springtime
- The Starlit Path
- Summertime
- Autumn Colours
- Northern Freeze
- Forest of Frights
- Caves of the Oni
Some general gameplay tips which may prove beneficial throughout your journey can be seen below:
- The hearts that pilgrims release upon killing enemies which boost the Cloud God’s attack strength, will get bigger and more powerful the longer you leave them, as long as you’re taking out a steady stream of enemies. Use this fact to your advantage and try to “grow” the hearts before collecting them; don’t leave them too long however, as they will eventually disappear entirely if you’re not taking out enemies.
- It’s always worth bearing in mind that the Cloud God can take a hit instead of a pilgrim. If you notice an enemy, or an enemy’s projectile that is going to take out a pilgrim, simply use the Cloud God to intercept the danger. Sure, the Cloud God’s attack strength will drop to its lowest, but it’s much better than losing a precious pilgrim.
- Often when you’re nearing the end of a level, your pilgrims will start to release hearts without you shooting enemies. This is not only a great opportunity to raise your attack strength in preparation for the next level, but an ideal time to double check that all eight pilgrims are with you safe and sound.
