Basking Bewl
Location: North of the Starting Village and Throughout the Map
Details: These are the most frequently encountered creatures in the game. You’ll initially find them lounging in a group north of the starting village, but they are widespread across the map, making them easy to spot.
Belted Bewl
Location: Wetlands
Details: Found in the Wetlands, Belted Bewls often hang off trees. Their presence is easily identified by their distinctive goose-like honks.
Collared Bewl
Location: Wetlands
Details: The only swimming Bewls, they are commonly seen swimming in the swampy areas of the Wetlands.
Coppery Bewl
Location: Moss Forest
Details: These are less common and only found in the Moss Forest. Search under large, flat mushrooms for small trees with two-tone leaves. Use the left trigger to investigate, and you might find a Coppery Bewl.
Spotted Bewl
Location: Moss Forest
Details: Spotted Bewls are relatively rare and can be seen in groups circling tall mushrooms in the Moss Forest. They are more frequently found at the forest edges but can appear anywhere in the area.
Burgling Bewl
Location: Various Locations
Details: The first Burgling Bewl is identified during the tutorial, but it cannot be charmed until later in the game. They appear every time you uncover a Meadow, but chasing them is futile as they won’t allow you to charm them. The only charmable Burgling Bewl is encountered near the end of the main story during the chase for the Feedbag.
