Purple Piper
Location: Moss Forest
Details: The only very common Piper, Purple Pipers can be found all over the Moss Forest.
Mossy Piper
Location: Moss Forest
Details: Although rarely found naturally in the Moss Forest, Mossy Pipers become quite common after the main game when you place food in the feeders there.
Sulphurous Piper
Location: Valley
Details: Sulphurous Pipers are typically seen with their heads poking out of cliff faces. They are most commonly found in the Valley and need to be investigated using the left trigger.
Banded Piper
Location: Above the Hill of Holes and The Pavillions
Details: This rare Piper spawns in the open area above the Hill of Holes and The Pavillions. They are not commonly attracted to feeders, so finding one often requires luck.
Vigilant Piper
Location: Opposite Side of the Bridge to Bernard
Details: Vigilant Pipers can be found with their heads poking out of holes opposite the bridge to Bernard. They hide as soon as they spot you, so you need to sneak up on them slowly from behind using the left trigger.
Bartlett’s Super Piper
Location: Moss Forest
Details: Only one of these spawns at a time and is relatively easy to track down. Head to the Moss Forest and look for sparkling multicolored plasma-type balls floating around. Follow the trail of these, and they will eventually lead you to the Super Piper.

I saw a tip that it seems to follow a specific course around the Skyfish Caverns, so hanging out around there finally worked for me.

Does anybody know if the deposits re-spawn. I had them in my game and now they seem to have disappeared after I tried to follow them, I wasn't aware that this was for this creature but I am sure nothing spawned in.
EDIT: Not long after posting this I spoke to Kaitlin who asked to see Bartlett's Super, the deposits spawned immediately.
