This is a part of natural progression. HOWEVER if you’re like me and couldn’t find the 5 crystal sprugs to charm I’ll quickly list where the 5 are as they aren’t all in the mushroom area which is what I thought. I probably spent a good 30 mins just flying around trying to look for them but there are only 2 in this area.
South east and south west of the 11 marker which is mossy boulevard both by colourful pools of water under the large mushrooms quite distinctive
South, west and north of the 10 marker which is bewl roost they are by small crystal formations in the ground often surrounded by a stone wall
When I say south for example I mean as your looking at the map on the menu screen

Almost immediately I discovered how much of an idiot I am. If you go the map and look at the locations of the left, you can see which spots you did not get the whistle for...

Yes the map locations on the left have a whistle icon to show what areas you are missing a whistle for. Although not every area has a whistle and they are always located in a bush
