How to unlock the Tactician achievement in Floppy Knights - Definitive Guide
Please note: The game has been updated a lot since I made this guide and a lot of the videos or solutions may be outdated due to reworked cards/mechanics, please see the comments for any updated puzzle solutions and for the rest of the levels you can probably still use the videos as a general guide through the level but you may have to adapt to new strategies in order to get through them effectively.
As part of the v2.0 update they added accessibility options which make these challenges much easier, these can be found in the assist options in the settings. These will not void the achievements so enable them all for +3 energy each turn, units gain +1 attack, enemies have half health and once per level your commander will gain a 1hp revive.
Challenge levels unlock once you complete each episode up to episode 6, the levels are mostly the same as the story ones but with a few changes (more enemies, different objectives ect) you also get a set deck for each level so you'll want to become familiar with most of the cards and commanders in the game by the time you finish these.
I uploaded my playthrough of each challenge level in case you're having trouble, the card generation is still random for most levels so you likely won't be able to completely replicate my runs but they should give an idea on how to beat them at least, I recommend watching on 2x speed as they're quite long levels and I sometimes take a while thinking my next moves through lol. I'm not using assists in these videos so if you're using them you'll likely have a much easier time.
3:45 - A Striking Puzzle - Cards are the same every time, just buff Spitunia then move up and attack the satellite.

Best options for focusing on the left seems to be moving a Spinnerette up to the water, wait a turn then hopefully kill that enemy by the snow on Turn 2, if not just take some damage, get it on Turn 3, make sure to stay on these 2 water tiles until the bottom left enemy starts moving in through the water, from here just focus on going around clearing the top and hopefully pulling out the Barrel Cactus.
Move the cactus to the top (killing enemies on the way) then the Spinnerette to the left side and you should be able to start focusing on killing enemies on the right side with Jessica now using the water to slow them down, If enemies on the left start piling up lure them down and through the water, they will chase but too slow to do any damage. You can use Barrel Cactus to help on the right side if needed but on turn 10 you want to move the Barrel Cactus up onto the top spawner to stop the ranged enemy from spawning.
Pretty straight forward from here just keep your units alive and enemies away from Bernard!
24:15 - Built Different
34:43 - Number Generation
58:27 - Bigger Better Battle - Messed this one up a bit towards the end, I was trying to get them close enough to rush with my Behemoth but ended up getting it killed, you don't need to do this though, just make sure you spawn a Spinnerette at some point for the Poison Lance cards then when the clones get close hit them with Vera while blocking the two spawners at the top with the Behemoth, can take quite a lot of turns but it's very safe.

Start by putting Jessica on the right side, attacking the snow and then moving her up into the water, you won't need to move her until around Turn 6 now allowing you to focus on the left side of the level.Best options for focusing on the left seems to be moving a Spinnerette up to the water, wait a turn then hopefully kill that enemy by the snow on Turn 2, if not just take some damage, get it on Turn 3, make sure to stay on these 2 water tiles until the bottom left enemy starts moving in through the water, from here just focus on going around clearing the top and hopefully pulling out the Barrel Cactus.

Lol, was having problems w/mass destruction, then I read your synopsis. Yup, that's what I thought... passed it on the 3rd try though.
So, the AI on this makes some critical errors when deciding to attack you or Bernard or just hop in the river for a swim. Try and force those errors when possible. Only reason I won was because the AI could go for the kill but decided damaging a minion was more relevant.

I added another section specifically for the Mass Destruction level, the AI seems to just get stuck on the right side if you leave Jessica in the water over there, allowing you to easily focus on the rest of the level until around Turn 6, which is plenty of time to set up to defend the top/left side. Might get fixed at some point but it's easy enough to replicate for now.

Since the only guides here involve following along while watching entire videos, I figured I should just add the simplest solution.
Go to options and enable all accessibility settings. When you do, the enemies will have half health, all your units get extra stats and you'll start with 8 energy to play cards every turn. Only bosses will remain at full health but will be far easier.
Accessibility settings do NOT void achievements. Have fun.

Challenges levels are unlocked as you complete Chapters 1-6. They are the same levels you played through those Chapters, but beefed up with harder objectives, more enemies, and predetermined decks. Certain challenge levels will give you the exact same cards every time, while the majority of them give you random hands each time.

This video is great! The commentary helps give you understanding in what you’re trying to achieve in each level with some tips for beating it. Thank you!

Last levels are so hard and unfair due to randomness of cards. If you just want the achievement then go to Menu and turn on Assist Options
