I would recommend using the D-Pad for this these racing levels, as you have more control over your movements.
Furthermore, there can be some input lag, so you cannot just spam all of the movements at once.
Do note that the timer for this achievement starts as soon as the level begins, not after your first move, so as soon as you begin, you'll need to start moving.

I would add that you should not press the keys super quickly as the game may not register all the presses.
