this is how i got the achievement.
firstly i played two games to get my 25 kills with boosting partner in private match. if you don't have a boosting partner play legit there seems to be lobbies up all the time and killing in multiplayer seems much easier than in campaign.
i then set up invite only private match to get the flagbuster achievement which you can do on your own.
now you should still be well short of 90mins..so
set up a dogfight in private and invite only. you can start game on your own. i started and left game running whilst i fed family did the dishes.
i came back and the achievement hadn't popped but total time was over the 90 mins. so pressed start and quit the game to end the round and doing this popped the achievement.

I can confirm that the private game and start the game on your own works. Recommend the SC-1 seahawk so you can land in the water, float around for 90 mins and then quit out.

I did it solo/private on a capture the flag match, turned my controller off (game still runs in the background), and came back a few hours later, exited match and it popped. Great solution!
