Just like a few others, I picked a fight with the practice dummy in Sanctia. You need Aerial Uppercut, Aerial Follow Up, and Aerial Finisher. Hold up and X and Flynn will blink before launching dummy into air. Press X, then X be last time. Should pop instantly.

Buy aerial uppercut, aerial follow up and aerial finisher, go to the dummy, push the analog stick up and smash the x button 3 times.
