How to unlock the Golden Boot Award achievement in Football Manager 2006 - Definitive Guide

Very easy achievement to accomplish.

Just simply start with a team like Brazil and then take over your opposition and place all their players on the sides and put a forward in goal, this should give your team an easy 15-20 goal win.
Just do that for your first two games and one of your players will score a mass of goals and should actually score more than enough of just those two games alone as top scorer normally scores around 10 goals.

Achievement wont pop until after World Cup is finished.

As the description says. I got this with England and Michael Owen, with Rooney setting him up. 5 or 6 goals in the main tournament should be enough to get this. Brazil are also a good alternative with Adriano and Ronaldo up front.

There are a few options for this one:

Option 1. Control a rich club, buy the best players, hope for the best.

Option 2. Control a club with a good player, then when world cup comes, add a new manager as the opponent, player bad tactics and hope your player scores the most. Change manager each game, so your player can score loads each game.

Option 3. Control all the clubs with the best strikers, so that the chances are one of the clubs owns the player that wins the golden boot.
