How to unlock the Manager Of The Month achievement in Football Manager 2006 - Definitive Guide

Winning all the league games in the month will more than likely net you this achievement. Some months, you may play less games than other teams and so may not be able to win it so don't be alarmed if you miss out. Just keep on performning well in the league and you will net you this achievement. Be careful though as some leagues don't have manager of the month awards, take the Netherlands for example. Can't get on holiday.

You USUALLY get this if you win ALL of your league games in that month. I say usually because there have been occasions where I've won all my league games comfortably and it's still gone to someone else. My main rival when it comes to the MOTM awards seems to be Jose Mourinho who for some reason it as Man Utd (I have no idea how Sir Alex got sacked, maybe he died, it is 2021 at the moment in my game).

EDIT: I had read somewhere before that you don't get the MOTM awards if your on holiday and the Assistant Manger is taking control of things but I can now 100% say this is untrue as I just got the achievement pop up for 10 MOTM awards whilst "on holiday" for about seven months (attempting 20 seasons achievement). Furthermore, I previously assumed you had to WIN (come first) the MOTM award to have it count towards the achievement but I got my last one (the one that gave me the 10 MOTM achievement) by coming third in the MOTM award, not first.

Your comments about MOTM being awarded whilst on holiday is incorrect. Trust me, I took control of all teams in the Australian League and not one manager was given any award whilst on holiday. Not the monthly or yearly one.
Also, the Danish Premier Division does not give out monthly awards.
