Well, the achievement says gain promotion, but I hear of people who get promoted via the playoffs or via second struggling to get the achievement, so you better aim for the top spot in the league just to make sure. Remember, you must go up a league to get this achievement.

to get a promotion you need to get the most points in your league to advance to the next league you cant use the top leagues such as English premier league, this will not work instead go for the lower leagues like coca cola or n power the team i done this with was leeds united. to make things easier u can take control of the other teams in your league to trade players or get easy wins by messing with the teams formation.
