I found that the quickest way was to play the Austalian leauge as they only play 21 games in the league. I simmed the 5 seasons in about 3 hours. I came back from holiday every 6 months to sign new players, contracts etc.

i played legit for 3 seasons won alot of the trophys, then simmed the last 2 seasons. as playing some seasons you will build your reputation, and your team, so when your simming i believe this helps to you not getting sacked. also make sure extend your staffs contracts for the period you are simming, as they do renew themselves and when you come back they will not b there.
