i used eastleigh, but to be honest im not sure it really matters who you are as you will not be able to get a team from here up to the premier league.
so you will need to add a user as a top team buy one of your players for all there budget, it will count when you get promoted a few times, as you will be able to lure in the top players from that league with high wages.
go on holiday for the 1st half of the season, and when you return see where you are in the league, and save. if you really need to climb the table by winning every game then before the game add a new user and screw up there formation, put them on holiday for 1 day and 'use match tactics'. you should 9.8/10 win, you might get the odd draw and not often loose, but winning the rest will certainly get you into the playoff position.
after every season make sure you add to your squad with the best players availible, have a good assistant and renew all contract you need. it took me about 11 hours, but i got lucky with 2 of the seasons as i got in the playoffs by simming through the whole 46 games.

I've unlocked the Scotland and Brazil achvs but I've just managed to get Sutton all the way from the Conf South up to the Prem and no achv. It usually pops the moment you confirm promotion right?
I've simmed forward to mid-July so that I have my fixtures for the upcoming Prem season but no achv yet.

it was too long ago to remember exsactly, but i think it wont pop at 1st july think its bit further in, once you get like all the forth coming season money and junk. keep going until you play your first game in the league, see if that works..

You must take a conference north or south team to the Premiership.
Probably the hardest Promotion Challenge & there isn‘t really a stand out team to use, but I recommend using Sutton United for this one. You must stick with the same team until you get to the top league of that nation.
