quicker and simpler method would be to play a mate on line the one who wants the achievment picks a top team eg chelsea ,barcalona the other picks an obscure club should not take many matches to get the achivement to unlock .

This achievement can take some time. A player has to score a hat-trick in a match. This can be club or international match. Unfortunately, this achievement WILL NOT unlock if you score a hattrick in a friendly but if you play your strongest team against a weaker team, you may have a chance of achieving this.
I done this achievement with Thierry Henry against Leyton Orient so it can be easy but it can also be hard.

You should get this one over time, but alternatively play your best striker up front on his own against a lower league side and he should net the majority of your goals. Another tip would be to make your striker the penalty taker and free kick taker. Those of you unaware of what a hat trick is, it is when a player scores three goals in a single game.
