Make sure you have a strong defense and goalkeeper (I would also suggest a strong defensive minded midfield). My advice is buy Vincent Kompany, John Terry as centre backs, Ashley Cole left back and Essien Right back with either G. Buffon or Petr Czec in goal. There are many other defenders also worth buying, but if you win the league you should get this as well as most goals scored.

Managed this easier than thought- i used man utd and set both my centre defenders to full defensive mentallity and used a quality defensive midfielder with a defensive mentallity-only conceded 26 goals all season
