This DOES NOT need to be done on the same game save, but it may take some time.
I won with the following leagues / clubs:
- Scotland, with Celtic.
- England, with Manchester United.
- Germany, with Bayern Munich.
- Spain, with Barcelona.
- Italy, with Inter Milan.
To make things easier:
- Save before each and every match, reloading if necessary.
- You do not need to watch the matches. Choose to go on holiday for a single day when it is matchday.

Something both these guides should have mentioned is that if you win the top league in China and/or USA then you only have to win 3 of these since they count too. So my suggestion is to do China and USA and 3 of these. So you can get the win 3 continental thingie achievement as well.

Win as many trophies as you can while in the top league, doesn’t need to be done in a single save.

it can take quite a while to actually play through a season, even when going on holiday for matches, saving before, etc. I found it easier using this method -
for england, add managers for man utd, chelsea, liverpool, arsenal, spurs & everton. now go on holiday til the end of next season, i selected july 2007 but i dont think it matters just as long as all competitions have ended. check to make sure that one of the managed teams have won the league and one of the cups.
repeat this method for france, spain, germany and italy. make sure to pick at least 6 of the top teams to maximize your chance of winning all or most of the competitions. don't forget about the 5 different cup comp achievement as well, you should get that long with 5 different top leagues.
