This achievement requires you to be managing a CLUB team, NOT an international team. So, be sure to have a few international attacking midfielders or strikers in your squad by the time it comes to the 2010 World Cup (Rooney, Torres, Benzema, Kaka for example), then hope one of them gets the Golden Boot award.

To virtually guarentee yourself the achievement, when the World Cup starts take control of a country that one of your strikers is selected for and make sure he is in the starting XI. You're then going to take control of the opposition team, and play with their tactics a little bit. Of course, the nations available to you are limited, so do this with the first country that you know you can take charge of. Set their tactics so the goalkeepers runs (move line) to the far corner at the other end of the pitch, and the rest of the players are on each wing.

The formation should be:

SW DL WBL ML AML

GK (with arrow to either corner at other side of pitch)

SW DR WBR MR AMR

Go on holiday, and be sure to check "Use current match tactics". Go on holiday with the other team and the result should something like 22-0, and your striker should have scored at least half of the goals. You can then just retire both managers and at the end of the World Cup, you should get the achievement.
