SETTING UP THE GAME

There is some simple set-up for this achievement that will save you a ton of time.

Go to https://www.fmscout.com/a-wannachup-fm21-instant-result-skin... and download this skin. Follow the simple set-up guide on the website to get everything sorted. If you have any issues, feel free to message me.

This will provide you with an instant result button similar to the console version of the game.

Personally I would also recommend checking out https://sortitoutsi.net/ for other downloads to improve the game such as logos, kits, and data updates to fix names like Manchester United. But that is personal preference.

SETTING UP THE SAVE

Start New Game -> Career -> Advanced Setup -> Add/Remove Leagues

You want to then tick Scotland and untick every other league. Once you have confirmed that adjust the active leagues to cinch Premiership only. In the top right corner chance the database to small. This will allow you to speed up the advances during the game.

The reason we pick Scotland is because in FM21 they award TWO Manager of the Year awards every year (writers' and players'). Both go towards the progress so you can get 5 Manager of the Year Awards in 3 seasons.

As for team the best option is Celtic.

SETTING UP YOUR TEAM

There are a couple of steps you need to take to set up your team for success.

1) Staff -> Responsibilities -> Delegate all of the following Staff Contract Renewals, Scouting Responsibilities, Media Responsibilities, Training Responsibilities, Tactical Responsibilities, U18 and B Team Match Day Responsibilities and Leading Team Friendlies.

This left me handling Player Signings and Sales along with Hiring/Firing Staff. I just felt comfortable doing those, if you don't then you can delegate those too.

2) Tactics -> Create New Tactic -> Gegenpress

At this point you want a good strong tactic that gets reliable wins. For this I used the following

For best results you should download the tactic but for this guide you would be fine just copying it.

PLAYING GAMES

Now that you have everything set up, this should minimize a lot of the time you need to invest. Now we utilise r/footballmanagergames secret weapon. Save Scumming.

So for each game you are going to want to follow this pattern

Home -> My Profile -> Go on Holiday -> Return from Holiday for Next Match

Once you are back from holiday, advance to your game, press Quick Pick so your Ass Man picks your team, SAVE YOUR GAME, and then press instant result. If you win the game holiday to your next game, if you don't then reload your save. Rinse Repeat.

As you are Celtic in Scotland you should win FAR more than you lose, it seems that Instant Result also leads to stronger results so that makes things easier also. Finally the tactic should ensure realistically you are only having to reload your save a couple times a year. You can get a full season done in 3 or so hours.

If you follow this guide, you will need to handle transfers for your own team. I don't have a secret to success for this one. Just twice a year I go into the scouting tab and decide who I think will strengthen the squad and pursue those. Do what feels best to you, if you are truly a beginner just delegate transfers to your staff and carry on!

You can use this method for the 10 and 20 Manager of the Year Achievements also.
