Selling a player involves a couple steps.
First, you can list a player to let other teams know a player is available for transfer. You may also receive offers for players without listing them.
Second, negotiate the transfer fee. You can negotiate the total fee, how many installments the other team will pay you in, and any additional clauses (such as receiving a percentage of a future sale of the player).
Third, the player must agree to terms with the new team. This may take a couple days in the game.
Once everything has been negotiated and the player joins the new team, the achievement will pop.
