you will need to be managing a decent national team in order to qualify for each world cup and then even a better team to stand a good chance of winning it

several ways to go about this:

> you are offered a role at a top national team, which you continue to manage, both club and national

> you are offered a role regardless how good/bad of a team, which unlocks national management, start a new national career with a good team

either way, continue/go on holiday til the next world cup available and make a save. save before each game and use instant result, make sure you win every game and reload if you lose and you will net the trophy in 7 games.

I did this by starting a new career as the manager of a International team (I picked England).
Went on holiday till the fist match appeared and played through those ones, then went on holiday again till the next lot appeared.
Quick skip each game making sure to save before each one, if I lost then reload that save and go again.
