I did this as Liverpool and sold the following players. With Liverpool you need to finish in the top 4.

You can also go and sell some clauses in the financial screen. This was worth around 10m.

As you can see, you don't need to gut the team too much. There's plenty of talent still available to finish in the top 4. I won the FA Cup and come first in the league.

I had plenty of bids for Gomez, Henderson, Vand Dijk, Oxlaid-Chamberlain, Jones, tsikimas and Elliot but didn't need to sell them.
