The easiest way to do this is to “save scum” it, that is saving the game before you are taken to the team selection screen and then reloading after the match if you lose. Always select “Play to Win” under Instant Result, this seems to be the best chance.

If you are wanting to do this legitimately then I picked Paris SG from the French league. Their team is obscenely good compared to the rest of the league and have a lot of World Class players in it. On the Tactics screen I selected “4-3-3 Wide” for the formation and the play style “Gegenpress”. On the Squad page press to auto select the squad and when you select “Instant Result” choose “Play to Win”. I got to 20 undefeated in the first 20 competitive matches, friendlies don’t count.

A note for other leagues and their cup competitions - you CAN lose by penalty shootout and it will not count as the streak is counted for the full 90 minutes and extra time. This is how I got the 30 undefeated on FM21.
