This achievement is mildly RNG dependent, since it needs an unsolicited bid to come in for a player. It can take 2 or 3 transfer windows if you are unlucky (it took me until the 3rd transfer window with Manchester City).
If you offer a player to other clubs or transfer list them it doesn't count. The bid must be one giving the option for negotiation; sometimes you get bids without the option. When a suitable bid comes in, simply raise the transfer fee by a single step. The negotiation will almost certainly be successful.
Other things that can mess this up:
*You need outgoing transfers to be set to "manager" (staff menu -> responsibilities)
*You cannot be on holiday when the sale takes place.
*If you are being a lower division team, you may get offers without a fee most of the time.
*A loan move with a fee involved won't count, it needs to be permanent.

I started a new game -> selected Scotland Rangers -> Did the save/load technique until I had won 4-5 games. I then went through my team list and put my lowest 25% performers on the transfer list (I was going for another achievement so I still need good players but if your going for just this achievement I don't see why you couldn't put the whole team on the transfer list). Within 1-2 days I was getting multiple offers for several team mates.

Took me almost 2h of simming to finally get a trade request that wasn't non-negotiable or regarding a loan. This was my last achievement which made it all the more frustrating.Don't let AI staff control outgoing trades until you have this achievement!

To earn this trophy you must sell a player to a team after negotiating with them so they pay you a higher fee than they originally offered.
To do this you can offer a player to clubs you no longer want, or wait for a team to put a bid in for one of your players.
When you advance and get an email from the club who is offering to buy your player, click 'Negotiate' in the bottom right and increase the fee they're offering by a couple of million to earn the trophy. When the team accepts the terms, the trophy will pop.
